Director of Strategic Partnerships

US East Coast, UK or Belgium,

As the Director of Strategic Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through projects and partnerships with (global) MedTech, Pharma, digital health companies and CRO’s active in the manufacturing, distribution and/or utilization of diagnostics and treatment solutions for people experiencing Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS), such as incontinence, prostate enlargement, neurogenic bladder and bed-wetting.


You will be responsible for generating leads, closing projects and establishing partnerships and alliances that support our business objectives and enhance our product portfolio. The emphasis is on acquiring projects and turnover, realized with Minze's existing solutions, that are of strategic importance for our (new) partners.


You will identify, evaluate, and negotiate collaborations with external partners, including small to mid-size, as well as large firms. This role requires strong networking, strategic thinking, negotiating, and business development skills.


Additionally, you continuously need to stay informed on our capabilities as well as industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. This is collaborating closely with our founders and senior management Team, Medical Affairs Manager and Marketing & Sales team in Europe and the USA.


What you'll do in this role:


  • Continuously network and generate leads, also supported by the Business Development Team.
  • Develop and execute a partnership strategy focused on acquiring new partners and expanding existing relationships within the MedTech, Pharmaceutical and Digital health platform industry.
  • Drive revenue growth by meeting and exceeding partnership targets and sales quotas.
  • Qualify deals, negotiate agreements, and close deals that align with company objectives.
  • Support the development of sales enablement material, working closely with marketing.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful and seamless implementation and delivery of partnership commitments.
  • Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and support contracting related to the expansion services for existing clients
  • Analyse market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and product/service enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting and deal activities and interactions in Minze’s CRM system (Odoo).
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Distil strategic insights from the market, contributing to Minze's focus.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and expand the company's presence within the MedTech, Pharma, CRO and Digital Health sector. 
  • Travel to clients, conferences, and prospects across the globe (up to 50% of your time).


What you bring to the table:


  • Preferably a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Life Science and/or Healthcare sector
  • 8+ years of experience in partnership development, business development, or sales roles, with a strong focus on contracting and closing deals within the MedTech and/or Pharma industry.
  • An existing network within the MedTech/Pharma industry, preferably within urology.
  • Preferred: Strong understanding of clinical development: clinical trials and / or expanded access programs
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in English.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and partnership objectives. You have a winning mentality.
  • The ability to identify market opportunities and develop actionable plans.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience in fundraising and M&A is an advantage.
